In one of the Indiana Jones movies, there s a seen where he sets out a plan to beat the Nazis to the treasure. Afterwards, it was revealed that the lines were improvised. He didn’t have a plan at all!

This is often how it is for us. We make plans, they can fall apart. We prepare carefully, things can go awry. As Burns himself said, “The best laid schemes o’ mice and men gang aft agley.”

However, God has a plan. It began before the foundation of the world. It was without equal and it became the greatest story ever told. Countless attempts have been made over time to thwart the plan yet God could not be stopped. The plan was Jesus and His church.

So add prayer and keep God involved in your plans!
