Help!

If Christians aren’t helping others, then we’re not Christians! Making a difference in someone else’s life in a positive way is a demonstration of the faith of a Christian.

When asked which of the commandments was the greatest, Jesus was not slow in helping the lawyer answer his own question: “Love God and love your neighbours.” Sadly, the lawyer wanted to justify himself by limiting who he was his neighbour. What followed was the story of the Good Samaritan.

Love, by definition, does not include personal prejudice. We don’t get to choose who God loves and who God doesn’t love. God is love. He loves all. Therefore, we love all.

Help someone, then you know you love as God loves.
